Be it a natural disaster, infectious pandemic, or large scale accident, pharmacists will always be essential to providing and maintaining services in a time of community need -and the demand will only increase.
How can pharmacists acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to be prepared for these emergency situations?

Program Objectives:
 List past key emergency events that required pharmacy participation
Describe challenges encountered by pharmacy departments during emergency situations
Review emergency preparedness take-home resources to identify potential solutions

Continuing Education credit has been approved for 0.1 live continuing education units (CEUs) or 1 contact hours of live continuing education. Participants must log in using their full name so that proof of participation can be confirmed. Participants must also complete the online learning assessments for the activity attended after the program to receive credit for this activity. You will have 45 days from the day of the program to complete the evaluations and learning assessments to receive ACPE credit. Upon completion and verification, your continuing pharmacy education credits will be sent to CPE Monitor. Statements of credit may be printed from the CPE Monitor website at: www.nabp.net/pharmacists. There is no fee for this Continuing Pharmacy Education Program.
